Limiting noise targets is very important in many off-road applications. That is why DCL tests in-house all its new muffler designs to ensure noise and back-pressure targets are met.
  
Design components in DCL mufflers typically include the following:
  • Absorbing material (eg. fiber glass mat)
  • Volume of mass
  • Tube
  • Resonator
  • One-chamber and two-chamber expansion muffler
