CONCORD, ON, NOV 30, 2016 – DCL International Inc., a global leader in emissions control solutions, is proud to announce that it has received certification from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the construction of heat exchangers and other pressure vessels. DCL’s certification covers ASME Section VIII, Division 1, which includes the requirements and specific prohibitions for materials, design, fabrication, inspection, markings, protection and certification of pressure vessels having pressure over 15 psi (100 kPa). This certification is recognized in the safety laws and regulations throughout North American and internationally.

“The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is internationally recognized as the gold standard for welding and construction, and having this certification opens many new opportunities for DCL,” said Joe Aleixo, Director, Commercial Technology at DCL. “Achieving this certification was made possible because of the rigorous qualification tests passed by our welders, and the hard work of our engineering and management team in the development of ASME appropriate design and quality control procedures.”
