Concord, ON – April 28, 2008- Technical paper Sulfur Poisoning and Regeneration of Pd Catalyst Under Simulated Emission Conditions of Natural Gas Engine, authored by DCL engineers Shazam Williams and Linjie (Robin) Hu was selected for SAE’s 2007 Transactions, Journal of Fuels and Lubricants published in March 2007. The technical paper was judged to be among the most outstanding SAE technical papers of 2007.

The paper provides detailed information on how trace amounts of sulfur present in natural gas affects the conversion efficiency of methane, ethane, propane and carbon monoxide on palladium catalysts and also discusses strategies for regeneration.
